Gatsby Uganda Limited

Striving to become the model enterprise in East Africa providing value-added solutions to all sections, Gatsby Uganda Limited provides know-how competitive products and services as well as productive capacity to its clients. Its members of staff are innovative, creative and honest and work as a team.

GUL also implements several of Uganda Gatsby Trust's activities, which enable intimate interaction between the staff and students of the Faculty of Technology with the entrepreneurs.

Specific Objectives

The specific objectives of GUL include:

• To promote socio-economic development of its clients.
• To continuously improve its competitiveness and the capabilities of the members of staff, methods and facilities.
• To promote linkages between institutions of higher learning and the foundry industry.
• To strengthen its partnership with stakeholders.
• To provide optimum return on investment to the shareholders.

The Trust implements three major activities, including the foundry, garage and business parks.
