Uganda International Trade Fair 2009

Uganda Gatsby trust was among the local exhibitors as always, and was able to acquire one of the biggest exhibition spaces to showcase products of its members. Like in the previous fair, UMA organized 3 business networking days purposely for businesses to exchange ideas, knowledge, technologies, and market information as well as forge partnerships and joint ventures amongst themselves. One obvious benefit for the members was that of profits realized during the exhibition through the sale of their products. Some of them were also able to get orders as well as customer contacts. During the exhibition, the UGT activities were made know to the general public through the daily UMA Vision and we are already anticipating increase in our membership.
